about

heartCourtney Mandryk lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan with her husband, Stephen Warrington, his daughter Rosie, sometimes their godson Jack, and always the two dogs and two cats. She has an MFA in poetry from the University of Michigan and an MFA in visual art from Cranbrook Academy of Art. She is seeking a publisher for a stereographic manuscript of creative nonfiction. Contact her this way: courtneymandryk[at]hotmail[dot]com. fireside studio This is her studio, up there in those top two windows of the Yellow Barn. The Yellow Barn Project is a fantastic community space in the downstairs of the barn. Some cool people turned this former grocery store into an arts community space. She is glad to live just a fifteen-minutes’ walk from her beautiful studio, which serves as a space for making things of all sort, visual and literary.

Thank you for transcribing the Savino speech from 2009.
I am in an American Public Address class at Iowa State and we watched the video as part of our civil rights unit. Having the transcription allowed me to better examine her wonderful speech.
    Thank you.
