Three years ago, Britta got these earrings at Target for $6.99, and they were so beautiful I bought some, too. They rusted enough that today I bought more, still $6.99. Putting them on today while walking out of the Target into this crazy windy day, I felt like I was putting on a second set of pigtails.

Wow. I lost one of these earrings a long time ago in M’s truck and have mourned it ever since. Strangely, I’ve never thought to go back to Target to look for them, but now I think I will. This is a beautiful picture of you. I miss you! They remind me of fish lures.
